StowTown Records & Syntax Creative Announce Global Distribution Partnership
StowTown Records has signed an exclusive global distribution agreement with Syntax Creative to release its roster’s music.
StowTown Records has signed an exclusive global distribution agreement with Syntax Creative. The partnership brings StowTown’s catalogue and artist roster, including The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, TaRanda Greene, Charles Billingsley and The Erwins, into the Syntax distribution system.
StowTown Records Director of A&R Mary Alice Lovelace comments:
“StowTown has built a substantial catalogue over the last 15 years, and we wanted a distribution partner equipped to actively work both the new releases and the music we already have. Syntax gives us the infrastructure, DSP relationships and hands-on attention to maximize the catalogue globally.”
Syntax Creative CEO Timothy Trudeau adds:
“While this is an exciting new partnership for Syntax Creative, it isn’t about the hype—it’s about getting it right. This music already has reach. Now, with it all under one roof, we’ll be able to maximize every square inch of this catalogue and bring it the dignity it deserves.”
The agreement also brings the entire discography of The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir under one label and one distribution partner for the first time. The seven-time GRAMMY® and nine-time Dove Award-winning group has recorded for decades, and its catalogue will now be distributed through Syntax Creative across digital platforms worldwide.
StowTown Records President and CEO Landon Beene says:
“The music of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir has been a household name for decades and a gift to the Church. By bringing the entire catalogue under one label and one distribution partner, we can preserve this legacy, ensuring it can be accessed and enjoyed for generations to come. We’re honoured to do this alongside Syntax Creative, whose shared vision makes this next chapter possible.”
