Larry June has released the official music video for “California Dream,” his collaboration with Jhené Aiko and one of the standout tracks from his latest album, Who Coppin.

Directed by Sean Kelly, the “California Dream” video turns the song into a cinematic love story unfolding in the moments before a traffic light changes. Larry June and Jhené Aiko find themselves idling side by side in their Porsches, with the brief encounter giving way to a romantic daydream.

The track appears on June’s latest album, Who Coppin, which arrived in July and features additional appearances from Musiq Soulchild, B-Legit, Swizz Beatz and Wallo. The album marks Larry June’s first solo project since 2024’s Doing It For Me and delivered the biggest debut of his career to date.

Who Coppin reached eight Billboard charts, including No. 1 on Emerging Artists, No. 2 on Indie Store Album Sales, No. 3 on Independent Albums, No. 5 on both Top Rap Albums and Top Album Sales, No. 7 on Vinyl Albums, No. 9 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and No. 29 on the Billboard 200.

The collaboration adds another highlight to an already expansive chapter in Larry June’s career. Now more than 15 years into his independent rise, the Bay Area rapper has continued building momentum through a steady run of mixtapes, albums and collaborations.

His recent run includes 2020’s Keep Going with Harry Fraud, which reached the Billboard Heatseekers chart, followed by 2021’s Orange Print, which landed at No. 125 on the Billboard 200. Spaceships on the Blade gave June his first Top 40 entry, while 2023’s The Great Escape with The Alchemist delivered another. That same year, he released The Night Shift with Cardo.

June followed with 2024’s Doing It For Me, 2025’s Life Is Beautiful with 2 Chainz and The Alchemist, and 2026’s Spiral Staircases with Curren$y and The Alchemist.

The rapper has also continued making appearances well beyond music. Recent highlights include a performance at the BET Awards and serving as Adidas’ Stadium Captain for the USA vs. Bosnia match at Levi’s Stadium in his hometown, where he delivered the FIFA World Cup game ball in front of an audience of 33.5 million viewers.

With Who Coppin continuing to make an impact and “California Dream” now accompanied by its official visual, Larry June is entering another major stage of his career.
