Pineapple Willows Releases New Album ‘For the Gayze’

Norman, Oklahoma trio Pineapple Willows are back with their brand new album, For the Gayze. It’s an 11-track album packed with catchy hooks, groovin’ guitars, and plenty of good vibes energy.

Made up of Dante Frame (guitar and vocals), Zach (bass and backing vocals), and Andy Copeland (drums), Pineapple Willows blend elements of indie rock, bedroom pop, and punk influences into a sound that’s easy to vibe to.

The record opens with “Got Away, Got Away,” a lively opening track that sets the stage for what’s to come. Track five, “It’s the Right Thing,” changes the pace with a more laid-back feel and features a guest appearance from Kenna. The album finishes strong with “Party Out in the Sun,” ending things how they started, with an upbeat feel good energy to send you home.

For the Gayze also follows a unique story. The band explains, “This album is the story of how three androids travel from the future Oklahoma (now Willows’ world) set in the 2080’s. They return to the future to regale tales from the 2020s from human interaction.”
