From First Drop Single “Your Name In Red Ink” via Fearless Records
From First to Last have signed with Fearless Records and unveiled their latest single “Your Name In Red Ink.”
Post-hardcore pioneers From First to Last have officially joined the Fearless Records roster, launching the partnership with the release of their new single, “Your Name In Red Ink.” The track arrives alongside an official lyric video and marks the band’s first release since signing with the label.
The new song introduces another chapter in the band’s ever-evolving story, with Lil Lotus stepping in as vocalist. Rather than revisiting past glories, the band describes the single as a forward-looking statement that blends the melodic aggression and emotional intensity longtime fans expect with a fresh perspective.
Lead singer Lil Lotus states:
“We are excited to drop our first song off the EP and announce we are working with Fearless. ‘Your Name in Red Ink’ is a good blend of all the different stuff I love about FFTL — plus new and old screamo/emo. I am really excited to see how everyone receives it.”
The accompanying lyric video is available now, and the single is streaming across digital platforms.
Originally formed in Florida by Travis Richter and Matt Good, From First to Last became one of the defining acts of the 2000s post-hardcore and emo explosion. After releasing the Aesthetic EP in 2003, the band broke through with Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Bodycount (2004) and Heroine (2006), helping shape the sound of a generation.
Throughout its history, the group has featured several notable vocalists, including Sonny Moore (later known as Skrillex), Spencer Sotelo of Periphery, and Kellin Quinn of Sleeping With Sirens before welcoming Lil Lotus into the lineup. The band has also toured alongside artists including Fall Out Boy, Pierce the Veil, Hawthorne Heights, Every Time I Die, and The All-American Rejects, while earning placements in video game franchises such as Madden, FIFA, and Need for Speed.
With “Your Name In Red Ink,” From First to Last signal that this isn’t simply a nostalgic reunion—it is the beginning of a new creative phase.
