With the outside world collapsing, Download Festival has become the last safe place on Earth. Self Deception must decide whether to remain behind the festival’s defences or venture into the unknown, while tackling questions of leadership, survival, and what it really takes to keep a festival civilisation alive. Along the way they debate whether seasoned festival veterans or feral mosh pit warriors would thrive, who should lead the survivors, what supplies are essential in the first 24 hours, and how music could keep hope alive when everything else has fallen apart.
