Together they imagine 2000Trees as the last safe place on Earth, debating what it would take to build a new society when the outside world has fallen.
The conversation explores why clean water and functioning toilets could become the festival’s most valuable resources, whether seasoned mosh pit warriors would outlast everyone else, and why festival preppers might quickly become the most sought after people in camp. Tobias and Ferdinand also discuss choosing the right leader for a post-apocalyptic community, with Glassjaw emerging as unexpected contenders, before deciding which supplies would matter most in the first 24 hours, the songs that would keep hope alive, and where the safest place to establish a permanent base at 2000Trees.
