Sullen Waves, the solo project of Los Angeles musician and producer Alex Pratsyuk, released the new single, “Echoes from the Void,” on June 26, 2026.
Sullen Waves, the solo project of Los Angeles musician and producer Alex Pratsyuk, released the new single, “Echoes from the Void,” on June 26, 2026.
The track is alternative rock with post-grunge roots. Distorted guitars, driving drums, and dynamic vocals over a tense, building arrangement. Pratsyuk cites Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Failure, and Mad Season as reference points.
Sullen Waves started as a band in 2014 and has been a solo project since. Pratsyuk writes, records, and produces everything himself out of Los Angeles.
The project has been covered by V13 Media, New Noise Magazine, and Get Some Magazine. Songs from Sullen Waves appeared on the soundtrack to the 2016 film Pet.
