She & Him Announce First North American Tour in Four Years

Indie folk duo She & Him have officially announced their first North American tour in four years. Dubbed the “Pump Up The Volumes Tour,” the run kicks off on September 20th in Chicago and will see the duo performing songs from their beloved catalogue of original material across major U.S. cities.

The announcement arrives amid renewed attention for the band following the viral resurgence of their 2008 song “I Thought I Saw Your Face Today.” Originally appearing on their debut album Volume One, the track recently became a surprise hit online, ultimately earning She & Him their first appearance on the Billboard Hot 100 nearly two decades after its original release.

To celebrate the song’s newfound popularity, the duo recently performed the track live on television for the very first time during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

Since the release of their 2022 album Melt Away: A Tribute To Brian Wilson, She & Him have remained one of indie pop’s most beloved collaborations. Comprised of actress/singer-songwriter Zooey Deschanel and acclaimed musician M. Ward, the duo first emerged in 2008 with Volume One, blending vintage pop influences with lush analog production techniques.

Over the years, She & Him have released several acclaimed records, including Volume Two, Volume 3, Classics, A Very She & Him Christmas, and Christmas Party.

Artist presales for the “Pump Up The Volumes Tour” begin Monday, June 1st at 10 am local time, followed by local/promoter presales on Tuesday, June 2nd. General public on-sale begins Wednesday, June 3rd at 10 am local time.
