Saint Blonde Preview Debut Album ‘…with little ease’ with Single “Chainwhip”
Saint Blonde has announced that their new album ‘…with little ease’ will be released September 18th, and have released the single “Chainwhip.”
Texas alternative rock outfit Saint Blonde have officially announced their debut album …with little ease, arriving September 18th via Pale Chord Records, Rise Records, and BMG.
Alongside the album announcement, the Denton-based band have unveiled their blistering new single “Chainwhip,” accompanied by a high-intensity music video directed by Jaxon Whittington.
The new single showcases Saint Blonde’s abrasive post-punk energy and confrontational songwriting style, channelling themes of authoritarianism, chaos, and resistance through razor-sharp guitars and volatile performances.
According to frontperson Hunter Fitch, the accompanying video captures “a Quentin Tarantino bank heist gone wrong,” matching the song’s aggressive intensity with cinematic disorder.
Fitch explains:
“‘Chainwhip’ skewers authoritarian power and those who wield it. We used various motifs to evoke the rush of riding shotgun in a high-speed chase, and capture our live volatility, while encouraging a sea of stage divers and crowd surfers.”
Produced by Courtney Ballard — known for work with 5 Seconds of Summer, Waterparks, and All Time Low — …with little ease embraces a guitar-driven sound inspired by early 2000s skate punk and modern post-punk tension.
The band describe the album as a rejection of “algorithmic perfection” in favour of something more visceral and human. Across 13 tracks, Saint Blonde balance massive hooks, abrasive textures, and emotionally charged performances.
Fitch adds:
“The name …with little ease speaks to the immense, intense, and long-time effort for us to share our first record with the world. We wanted the first track to mirror the emotional dive of our process, and give some insight into the visceral, intentional, energetic and identity redefining tracks to follow.”
Previously released singles, including “Dirty $$$,” “Trendsetter,” “Prowl,” and “Gimme My Flowers,” have already accumulated more than 1.2 million streams collectively.
