Remnants Release New Double Side “Lonely Hours / Harvest”

Detroit-based band Remnants just dropped their first release of 2026, and it’s a double-side called Lonely Hours / Harvest. The band delivers listeners a little taste of two different moods with each song on the record providing contrast from some of their previous work.

“Lonely Hours” starts things off with a soft, simple intro, shaker and a clean guitar before smoothly crept synths and vocals join in. The song is about feeling alone, but it pushes a hopeful message. Lines like “Sit back and desire, what you missed the most” set the tone, while the chorus repeats, “Lonely Hour / Lonely Hour / You don’t have to be alone,” letting the listener know that they have the power to change.

The second track, “Harvest,” slows things down. It has a relaxed groove and a dash of swing. Pedal steel and piano give the track its warm, easy feel. “Dream up / dream up / let me fill your cup / with the promise of a man.”

Remnants formed in 2020 and blend indie, alt-rock, and experimental elements to create their sound. The current lineup came together in 2022, and the band released their debut album Strange Things Change Brings in 2025. This new release was recorded at Rustbelt Studios and written by Adam Quiroz, showing a more direct, easy-listening side of the band.
