Ravmagav – “Fire Away” [Song Review]

Ravmagav makes songs that feel salvaged from the last glowing minutes of sunset. His new single and video, “Fire Away,” arrives like dream-pop viewed through stained glass: soft-focus, retro-lit, and quietly affecting.

Built on alluring dream-like vocals, tense guitar lines, and a rhythm so restrained it almost seems to hover, “Fire Away” slowly shifts and glides. The song reveals an insomniac’s private end-times tableau, but beneath a vague sense of unease sits something unexpectedly tender: devotion, protection, the soft steadiness of a song that doubles as a haven.
