Phoebe Bridgers has officially announced her long-awaited third studio album, Lost Weekend, set for release on August 14th through Dead Oceans. The announcement follows weeks of fan speculation and a series of surprise pop-up performances across the United States, culminating in a sold-out appearance at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The singer-songwriter’s recently announced North American, UK, and European arena tour also sold out within hours of tickets going on sale.

Fans can now pre-order the album and explore additional release details through Phoebe Bridgers’ official channels. Lost Weekend marks Bridgers’ first solo album since 2020’s critically acclaimed Punisher, which earned multiple GRAMMY nominations and cemented her status as one of the most influential songwriters of her generation.

According to the press release, the new album builds upon the emotional depth and lyrical craftsmanship that defined both Punisher and her 2017 debut Stranger in the Alps. While maintaining the themes that have become synonymous with Bridgers’ songwriting, Lost Weekend is described as an ambitious and surprising collection that showcases an artist operating at the peak of her creative powers.

Since the release of Punisher, Bridgers has remained a dominant force in contemporary music. Alongside Lucy Dacus and Julien Baker as part of boygenius, she earned multiple GRAMMY Awards for the group’s acclaimed album the record, including “Best Alternative Music Album.”

She also received a GRAMMY for her featured performance on SZA’s “Ghost in the Machine” from the blockbuster album SOS.

Bridgers spent much of the past several years touring extensively, including appearances on Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” and her own globally successful “Reunion Tour,” which featured sold-out dates across North America, Europe, South America, Asia, and Australia.

Beyond the stage, she delivered standout performances through NPR’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series and Saturday Night Live, while also collaborating with artists including Paul McCartney, MUNA, Bright Eyes, The 1975, Lorde, Taylor Swift, and The National.

The newly announced “Lost Tour” begins in September and will take Bridgers across North America before heading to the UK and Europe later in the year. Nearly every date announced so far has already sold out.
