Black Veil Brides Get Intimate at Liverpool Arts Centre for ’Vindicate’ Release Album Show [Photos]
Black Veil Brides follow-up their Download Festival appearance with a series of intimate album launch shows including one in Liverpool.
Fresh from a barnstorming appearance at this year’s Download Festival, where they tore up the main stage on the Saturday afternoon, American hard rockers Black Veil Brides swapped the giant Opus Stage at Castle Donington for a series of intimate shows in Brighton, Liverpool, and London to celebrate the release of their new album, Vindicate.
Joining the band on the run of shows was UK industrial rock crew, and recent V13 cover stars, Saint Agnes, who themselves were promoting a new album in the form of their recently released offering, Your God Fearing Days Are About To Begin. In the intimate, dark confines of the rooms being played on this run of dates, there couldn’t have been a more suitable support.
As for the headliners, well, Black Veil Brides return to the UK with the release of their seventh album, Vindicate, and while the band’s image might not be as dark and gothic as before, they have lost none of that black-hearted, gothic, horror-esque element to their sound.
Now, while numerous bands have arrived and stolen the hearts of the gothic metal scene in the time the Andy Black fronted rockers have been out of the limelight, Black Veil Brides are still one of the best when it comes to this, add in a new found metallic edge to their haunting anthems, and Black Veil Brides fans still get a show that captures the imagination and has you singing along to anthems like “Bleeders,” “Rebel Love Song,” and set closer “In The End.”
