The Mirrors just dropped their first release of 2026, their dreamy new EP, Ambrosia, and it’s a 4 track collection that delivers a full sonic experience. The Montreal duo keeps pushing their sound forward, blending styles and focusing on mood just as much as melody.

Ambrosia opens with “Silent Storm,” setting the tone for the EP right away. It’s smooth and atmospheric, with dreamy vocals and layered synths that feel almost hypnotic. It has a cathartic vibe, making it the kind of track you can zone out to.

The title track, “Ambrosia,” is how they close out the record with a message that speaks to the overarching theme of the EP. Lines like “Never cease to believe / Wake from amnesia” drive home the theme of waking up and chasing something bigger.

“Let each song flow gently into your subconscious, hoping you can feel all the passion we put into creating these songs.”

When asked about the EP the band said, “We offer you our spring nectar. Let each song flow gently into your subconscious, hoping you can feel all the passion we put into creating these songs.”

Natalie Talbot and Hugo Joyal, coming from Seakin and HJ & the Constellations, have been building this project for a few years now. Their sound blends classical and electronic elements, giving them a lot of room to experiment and create. That mix shows up across the EP, with each song bringing something a little different while still maintaining its cohesiveness.

With the new release, The Mirrors aren’t trying to do too much, they’re locking into a vibe and owning it.
