Chicago heavy psych outfit REZN have announced their new album, Cycles in the Infinite Dream, arriving July 24 via Sargent House. Alongside the announcement, the band has released the lead single and music video for “Cloudfall.”

The album follows the band’s recent releases Solace (2023) and Burden (2024), continuing REZN’s fusion of crushing doom, psychedelic textures, and cinematic atmosphere. According to the band, Cycles in the Infinite Dream explores themes tied to dreams, subconscious states, and alternate realities.

“Cloudfall” dives into the unsettling experience of sleep paralysis and false awakenings while introducing a new sonic element to the band’s sound through Spencer Ouellette’s lap steel guitar work. The accompanying video was directed by Chris Owsiany and Tom Conway.

REZN — comprised of Rob McWilliams, Phil Cangelosi, Patrick Dunn, and Spencer Ouellette — have built a reputation over the past decade for blending massive riffs with immersive ambience, earning praise from outlets including Stereogum, Revolver, and Treble.
