FiXT Furthers NAMI Support with Expanded Mental Health Matters Merch Line
FiXT has expanded its Mental Health Matters merchandise line in support of NAMI, donating from every sale to mental health advocacy efforts.
As Mental Health Awareness Month continues throughout May, independent artist-owned label FiXT has announced the expansion of its metal-inspired “Mental Health Matters” merchandise line, originally launched in 2023. The campaign supports the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), with five dollars from every shirt or tank top sold donated directly to the organization. The expanded “Mental Health Matters” line includes shirts and tank tops available through FiXT’s online store.
NAMI is the largest grassroots mental health organization in the United States, focused on improving the lives of people affected by mental illness through advocacy, education, support, and public awareness.
According to FiXT, the campaign reflects an issue that resonates deeply with both the company and its artists.
The label shares:
“May is Mental Health Awareness Month. 970 million people around the world struggle with some form of mental illness. One in four people will be affected by mental illness at some point in their lives.”

FiXT President James Rhodes emphasized the importance of mental health within the company’s culture and creative community:
“Mental health is incredibly important at FiXT — for our staff, our artists, and our fans. It affects every single one of us. We strive for greatness and excellence in our work, but our individual mental health is a huge factor in how we carry ourselves, how we engage in self-talk and build self-worth, and how we show up for others — co-workers, artists, industry partners, families, friends, and beyond.”
Rhodes continues:
“We believe in taking care of your mental health and supporting others in their journey as an act of self-care and loving others. We are proud to support every artist whose music and art we have put out into the world, contributing towards enriching the lives of millions of fans globally over our 20-year history.”
Michelle Steer, FiXT’s E-Commerce & Merchandise Director, also spoke about the emotional connection between music and mental health.
“Music has always been a place where people find connection, healing, and understanding, especially during difficult times. Mental Health Awareness Month is an opportunity to remind people that no one is alone in what they’re facing.”
She adds:
“Behind every artist, fan, friend, and co-worker is a person carrying struggles that may not always be visible. ‘Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind always’ is a message that speaks directly to why mental health awareness matters.”
Steer said the campaign’s goal is to help people feel supported while encouraging compassion and understanding around mental health.
