A Perfect Circle Return “Starless” Single; Announce 2026 World Tour
A Perfect Circle has released their brand new single “Starless” and has announced an extensive 2026 world tour.
Alternative rock icons A Perfect Circle have officially returned with “Starless,” their first new music in years and a track that signals a bold new chapter for the band ahead of an extensive 2026 international tour.
The new single arrives just days before the group launches its first European and U.K. tour in eight years.
Formed by guitarist Billy Howerdel and vocalist Maynard James Keenan, A Perfect Circle remains one of alternative rock’s most influential acts, known for blending atmospheric melodies with heavy, emotionally charged songwriting. “Starless” continues that tradition, shifting between soaring guitar-driven moments and intricate, restrained passages that showcase the band’s signature dynamic sound.
Keenan shares:
“Absolutely chuffed to debut this new track on stage in the U.K. Of course, I’m excited to release the recordings, but our songs always take on an expanded personality once we start playing them live.”
The track was recorded earlier this year at Howerdel’s Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California. Produced by Howerdel and mixed by Matty Green (U2, Florence + the Machine, TV on the Radio), “Starless” also features longtime collaborator Josh Freese on drums.
Howerdel explains:
“Some songs get kicked around and massaged for years. But once in a while, one takes shape quickly, as if it had been there all along.”

A Perfect Circle “Starless” single artwork
Alongside the digital release, A Perfect Circle have unveiled a limited-edition “Starless” 7-inch vinyl single featuring a custom etching of the band’s iconic crescent logo on the B-side and a custom 7-inch adapter.
The release is available in two collectible variants: Silver/black and White with sea blue and black splatter.

The newly announced tour will take the band across Europe, the U.K., Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Hawaii throughout 2026. Select dates will feature support from Puscifer, Jehnny Beth, Reclus.É, and A.A. Williams.
