Des Rocs Announces Album ‘To Hell and Black,’ Unveils Single “Fall Together”
Des Rocs has announced that his new album ‘To Hell and Black’ will be released on June 12th and has unveiled the new single “Fall Together.”
NYC rock n’ roll artist Des Rocs announces his third studio album, To Hell and Back, arriving June 12th via Sumerian Records – a towering new chapter that sharpens his cinematic instincts while pushing deeper into the mythos he’s been building from the ground up.
Alongside the announcement, Des Rocs unveils his new single, “Fall Together,” a sweeping, mid-tempo offering that leans into a more restrained but no less powerful side of his sound. Cinematic in scope, the track unfolds with dynamic instrumentation that ebbs and flows alongside its narrative arc, anchored by an epic string section that elevates its emotional weight. At the center, Danny Rocco’s evocative vocal performance takes focus, commanding yet vulnerable – marking a subtle shift from the bombast toward something more nuanced without sacrificing scale.
Rocco shares:
“Sometimes you find yourself stuck in a place where no matter what you do, you’re gonna lose. This song’s about that dead-end feeling, when both roads lead to the same place. Nothing good. It’s a heavy one, but it’s a real part of the story of this album. I hope this song can help those navigating those tough roads we have to travel in this thing called life.”
To Hell and Back builds on a run of singles that sketch out the album’s expansive, cinematic world. Breakout track “The Juice” first put Des Rocs on the map at Rock Radio, pairing snarling riffs with swaggering, blues-soaked grooves and a razor-sharp vocal delivery – earning a Top 10 spot and a national Nissan commercial placement. He followed with “This Land,” a towering, arena-ready anthem featured as the theme for Borderlands 4, driven by stomping rhythms, searing guitar lines, and a sense of widescreen intensity that earned his second Top 10 at Rock Radio.
Elsewhere, “When The Love Is Gone” earned praise, with RockSound raving the track “embodies everything that is sensational about rock and roll.” Most recently, “The Riders of Red Hook (Legends Never Die)” arrived as a surprise release, unfolding as a gritty, mythic slow-burn that was featured prominently during the UFC 326 broadcast for “Holloway vs. Oliveira.”
Rocco explains:
“This record is about anyone who’s ever been knocked down and gotten back up. It’s for the people who keep goin’, even when it feels like the world’s against them. To Hell and Back is for the fighters, the dreamers and the survivors. This record is the culmination of everything I’ve ever done. It’s all those years of struggle wrapped up into one sonic battle cry. None of this music would’ve been possible without riding the roller coaster of tryin’ to make it in a band outta NYC.”
Currently in the final stretch of his North American headline tour, Des Rocs continues to bring his high-voltage live show across the country before heading into a festival and international run. He is set to perform at Rock Fest 2026 and has just announced a headline European tour for the fall, further cementing his status as one of rock’s most compelling modern voices.
