Damnation Festival 2026 Announces Cult of Luna, Satyricon, Carcass & More!
Damnation Festival reveals six huge line-up additions with Cult of Luna, Satyricon and Carcass joining the line-up for 2026 weekend.
Damnation Festival has unveiled the latest wave of artists for its 2026 edition, confirming one of the strongest line-ups in the event’s history. Set to take place at BEC Arena in Manchester across November 7th and 8th, the festival will be headlined by Swedish post-metal outfit Cult of Luna and Norwegian black metal pioneers Satyricon.
Cult of Luna will close out the Saturday night of the festival, while Satyricon are set to deliver a UK-exclusive performance as Sunday’s headliners. The announcement marks a significant moment for Damnation, bringing together two of the most influential names in modern heavy music for a rare weekend appearance.
Also confirmed for the bill are extreme metal heavyweights Carcass, French experimental act Igorrr, US sludge icons Crowbar, and Swiss avant-garde metallers Triptykon. Together, the additions significantly bolster what is already shaping up to be one of the most diverse Damnation line-ups to date.
These newly announced acts will join previously revealed artists, including Health, Walls of Jericho, Eyehategod and Wolves in the Throne Room, further cementing the festival’s reputation for curating forward-thinking and genre-spanning heavy music bills.
The full line-up of added bands is as follows:
Cult of Luna
Satyricon
Carcass
Igorrr
Crowbar
Triptykon
Festival organiser Gavin McInally commented on the announcement:
“We promised ticket buyers who supported us early that we would repay that faith with the strongest line-up we could pull together. Promises made. Promises kept. All six of these bands could headline Damnation without raising an eyebrow so to have them all play the same year is obscene, nevermind alongside the likes of Health, Eyehategod and Wolves In The Throne Room. Incredibly, we have another 19 bands to come and those are all gems too.”
He added:
“If there’s any justice in our music scene, Damnation will sell out today, so please grab your phone, alert your friends and make sure that they don’t miss out on the metal weekend of the year.”
Damnation Festival continues to position itself as one of the UK’s premier destinations for heavy music, and with a line-up of this scale already revealed, 2026 looks set to be one of its biggest editions yet. With more than half of tickets already sold, demand for Damnation Festival 2026 is high, and organisers have indicated that the event is on course to sell out in record time.
