Connecticut-based noise rock henchmen Intercourse present their official cover of “Violet” by Hole! The new cover follows the late 2025 Brutal Panda Records release of their scathing fourth LP, How I Fell In Love With The Void.

“Violet” was recorded during the How I Fell In Love With The Void sessions with Chris Teti (The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die). Intercourse vocalist Tarek Ahmed writes:

“When it came time for us to do a cover we thought to ourselves, ‘Why not just do the opening track from the greatest album of the ‘90s? Maybe we could bring something new to it?’ Then went through all the trouble and realized no one could ever do this song better than the Queen herself. But here it is anyways.”

Intercourse has also announced a barrage of new tour dates for the year. This Saturday, March 14th, they’ll destroy Providence as support for Deadguy and All Out War. From June 1st through 7th, Intercourse hits the Central US on tour with Chained To The Bottom Of The Ocean, including a set at Mutants Fest in Little Rock. And this Fall, Intercourse will make their UK debut on a run of dates supporting Rwake and Eyehategod, leading with a set at Damnation Festival on November 7th, the tour running through November 14th.
