Belfast-born singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Gareth Dunlop is introducing a new side project, Dunsun, with the release of its debut single, “When The Devil Gets His Way,” out via Moraine Music Group today.

A more stripped-back, Americana-leaning outlet for Dunlop’s songwriting, Dunsun offers a rawer, more understated counterpart to the broader scope of his solo work. The project’s first single, “When The Devil Gets His Way,” was co-written with country artist Johnny Reid and is set to appear on March 24 in Marshals, CBS’s new Yellowstone spin-off.

With “When The Devil Gets His Way,” Dunsun arrives as a compelling new chapter for Dunlop: intimate, unvarnished, and built to let the song speak for itself.
