Annika Catharina Releases Latest Single, “Dancing with the Devil”

Breakout Canadian country artist Annika Catharina is excited to share her new single “Dancing with the Devil” across all digital streaming platforms.

As her first single of 2026, “Dancing with the Devil” was written by Annika and Spencer Burns and produced by The Renaissance (Dan Botch and Garrett Ward). It seamlessly integrates contemporary country and rock elements that match the song’s bold energy and edgy storytelling.

Annika says:

“I often gravitate toward relationship songs, and this single explores what happens after one person clearly crosses the line of what’s healthy and acceptable. When you look back on a toxic relationship, you’ll often find the red flags were there all along, but it’s easier to keep excusing them until it all becomes impossible to ignore. ‘Dancing with the Devil’ is about finally seeing someone clearly for who they really are and calling them out on it.”

“Dancing with the Devil” is the third release from Annika’s upcoming debut album, Up All Night, and follows the earlier singles “Under Covers,” for which she was chosen as the “JR Country Artist of the Month,” and “Better Hands,” which reached 150K Spotify streams and was added to four editorial playlists across Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Music.

Based in the Fraser Valley region of British Columbia, Annika has maintained a steady musical output over the last two years and generated an enthusiastic and overwhelmingly positive response from industry tastemakers and fans across Canada and beyond.
