Thy Sanatorium Confirm Release of Self-Titled Debut
Thy Sanatorium will release their self-titled debut album ‘Thy Sanatorium’ on April 24, 2026, via streaming platforms, vinyl, and CD.
Thy Sanatorium, the anonymous multi-national collective known for a horror-themed blend of melodic death, black, and gothic metal, will release their self-titled debut album Thy Sanatorium on April 24, 2026. The record will be available on all major streaming platforms, as well as on vinyl and CD.
Following three singles that introduced the project’s sound and atmosphere, the eight-track album expands that world with a sharper sense of range and pacing. The band leans into horror as a narrative thread, moving through themes that feel unsettling but strangely familiar, and building songs that balance extreme metal force with darker melodic detail.
The album was produced by founding member and lead guitarist Aries, recorded at The Sanatorium Studio, and mastered by Colin Davis (VILE) at Imperial Mastering.
Comments Aries:
“This all started as a single song that we released just a few months ago. It began with ‘Torment’, then suddenly here we are. I’m excited for the full album to be out in the world. Everyone involved brought their own talents and unique style. That’s why Thy Sanatorium sounds fresh and a little different, while still staying familiar and respectful to the genres we blend.”
