The Black Keys Return with “You Got To Lose”; Announce New Album ‘Peaches!’
The Black Keys return with new single “You Got To Lose” and announce new album ‘Peaches!’ plus London shows.
GRAMMY Award-winning rock duo The Black Keys have returned with their new single “You Got To Lose,” taken from their forthcoming fourteenth studio album Peaches!, set for release on May 1st, 2026, via Easy Eye Sound/Parlophone Records. The official music video, directed by E.J. McLeavey-Fisher, captures the band performing a surprise show at Memphis juke joint Hernando’s Hide-A-Way last month.
The album artwork features an image by Memphis-born photographer William Eggleston, with packaging designed and art-directed by Patrick Carney’s brother, Michael Carney, who previously won a GRAMMY Award for his work on the Brothers cover.
Peaches! is described by singer Dan Auerbach as the band’s “most natural record” since their 2002 debut, The Big Come Up. The 10-track collection was born during a deeply personal period, as Auerbach’s father faced a diagnosis of esophageal cancer while staying at Dan’s Nashville home.
Speaking of the record, the singer said:
“We weren’t making a record. We were just jamming, like this is for us. Really primal, in a moment when all the nerves were raw, just kinda screaming. We were going through a lot, trying to lift our spirits. I think my dad getting sick made me not give a fuck and just wanna scream for a bit.”
Following an appearance at Victorious Festival this summer, The Black Keys will play two London headline shows at Eventim Apollo on August 31st and O2 Academy Brixton on September 1st. Fans who pre-order Peaches! from the official webstore will receive exclusive access to the London pre-sale. Tickets go on sale via the band’s official website.
