SOFIA ISELLA Previews ‘Something is a shell’ with Single “Numbers”

21-year-old music prodigy SOFIA ISELLA has announced the release of her new EP Something is a shell, out independently April 17. This third EP marks the newest chapter in ISELLA’s canon of work, dropping after a banner year that took her from viral momentum to sold-out rooms and arena stages worldwide.

The announcement arrives alongside the release of “Numbers,” a new track that distills the tension at the center of ISELLA’s work — control versus autonomy, intimacy versus extraction — pairing her unflinching vocal delivery with a stripped, percussive backbone that feels more like a reckoning than a hook. In this opening track on the EP, ISELLA takes on the dark underbelly of the Bible and sycophants who go to great lengths to defend it. The EP will also include the previously released tracks “Out in the Garden,” as well as “Above The Neck.”
