Snowk Unveil Stunning Live Melodic House DJ Mix from Lake Daisetsu, Hokkaido

Japanese deep house duo Snowk unveil a breathtaking live DJ mix recorded aboard the “Ice Merry-Go-Round” at Daisetsu Dam Lake within Daisetsuzan National Park, Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido, Japan. The 66-minute set captures an emotional journey through melodic house perfectly complementing the stunning snowy landscape, featuring four unreleased Snowk tracks alongside their recent single “Big Love feat. Liset Alea,” and carefully selected productions from VEHA, Robby East, Polar Inc., Qrion, Shingo Nakamura, and more.

Snowk explains:

“We’re performing a DJ set aboard the ‘Ice Merry-Go-Round’ at Daisetsu Dam Lake in Daisetsuzan National Park, Kamikawa Town, Hokkaido. The setting is absolutely stunning. We’ll be playing an emotional mix featuring some of our unreleased tracks along with our new song ‘Big Love feat. Liset Alea’—all centered around melodic house that we feel perfectly complements the snowy landscape around us.”

The performance was shot and edited by Masaya Goto with drone cinematography, supported by Sounkyo Tourism Association, capturing the duo performing against the pristine winter wilderness of Lake Daisetsu—a setting that mirrors their signature aesthetic of music with a sense of floating like powder snow lying gently onto urban asphalt pavement roads.

The mix features four unreleased Snowk tracks that showcase the duo’s evolving sound: the opening “Soen,” the collaborative “Iramante feat. Towa Ainutronica,” the atmospheric “Falling,” and the closing “Mizukami.” These unreleased productions sit alongside the recent single “Big Love feat. Liset Alea”—their collaboration with Nouvelle Vague’s lead singer that captured fleeting connection and seismic emotion—and “Like You,” demonstrating the emotional range and production sophistication that has earned Snowk international recognition.
