SIERRA VEINS Announce Trio of UK Headline Shows
SIERRA VEINS tours UK and Europe behind second album ‘In The Name Of Blood,’ following global acclaim and major festival appearances.
French darkwave artist SIERRA VEINS is currently in the midst of a full European tour following the release of her second album, In The Name Of Blood, which arrived in November last year. The run includes three UK headline dates this March, with stops in Edinburgh, Manchester and London.
Blending violence and melancholy, gentleness and brutality, SIERRA VEINS combines darkwave, EBM and synthwave into a distinctive and immersive sonic identity. She first began releasing music in 2017 with a clear artistic vision, and gained early momentum with 2019 singles “Gone” and “Unbroken,” both of which accumulated millions of streams.
In 2022, fashion house Yves Saint Laurent selected “Unbroken” for its Bold Lipstick campaign. Later that year, she toured the US and Europe with Carpenter Brut, performing at venues including Los Angeles’ Fonda Theater, Paris’ Le Zénith and London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Her 2023 debut album A Story Of Anger featured collaborations with Carpenter Brut, Health and Gunship, followed by extensive touring and appearances at festivals including Hellfest, Wave-Gotik-Treffen, Les Vieilles Charrues and Roadburn Festival.
Speaking about In The Name of Blood’s concept, she explains:
“In every drop of our blood lies the imprint of our stories, with DNA as a silent memory flowing through us since the very beginning. Our cells carry the traces of what came before us, of what escapes us, of what we will become. It’s an invisible heritage that shapes us, no matter what we strive to be.”
Released through her own label and distributed via Bloodblast / Big Wax, In The Name Of Blood marked a more introspective chapter, exploring themes of identity and self-development. The album followed her decision to change her name from SIERRA to SIERRA VEINS earlier in the year.
Tour Dates:
03/05 – EDINBURGH – Bannermans
03/06 – MANCHESTER – Aatma
03/07 – LONDON – Hackney Oslo
