Portland-based disco-pop group ROMAANCE presents the new single “Touch,” released February 6, 2026, on Bandcamp and all streaming platforms. With production heavily indebted to the Italo disco and synth-pop sounds of the ’80s, producer Jason Wann reinvents a vintage sound for the modern age, bringing glossy pastiche and revitalized dance-driven energy. Warm pop clarity in the vocals brings passionate flair to the mix, rekindling new wave greats of the past.
The accompanying music video for “Touch” only furthers this intergalactic voyage into retro electro-disco bliss. With themes of building connections in a digital age, the vibrant technicolour aesthetic and overt old-school disco tropes contrast with a personal message focused on the thrill of proximity in an increasingly detached world.
ROMAANCE’s 2025 debut, Dust Among The Stars, delights with 8 tracks of cinematic disco-pop that will have you boogieing on the dance floor. Thunderous drums and throbbing basslines sharply define its retro-futuristic aesthetics. The sinuous vocals enchant with velvet harmonies and crisp delivery.
