Canadian heavy music pioneers Kittie have announced their return to the UK and Europe with a run of headline shows scheduled for August. The dates follow a significant year for the band, which saw them perform on this side of the Atlantic for the first time in over a decade and firmly re-establish themselves on the international live circuit.

I have an unhealthy obsession with bad horror movies, the song Wanted Dead Or Alive and crap British game shows. I do this not because of the sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll lifestyle it affords me but more because it gives me an excuse to listen to bands that sound like hippos mating.
