i-dle Release Single “Mono (Feat. skaiwater)”
K-pop group i-dle returns with a bold new chapter, unveiling their latest single, “Mono,” featuring skaiwater.
Internationally acclaimed, chart-topping K-pop group i-dle returns with a bold new chapter, unveiling their latest digital single, “Mono” (feat. skaiwater), out now. The release marks the group’s first new music in eight months and serves as a creative prelude to their upcoming world tour, 2026 “i-dle WORLD TOUR [Syncopation].”
“Mono” represents a striking shift in tone for i-dle. Moving away from the maximalist pop energy of recent hits like “Queencard,” the track leans into restraint, built on a minimalist yet sophisticated beat. At its core, “Mono” explores i-dle’s contemplation of the essence of music, delivering a clear message: step outside the noise, release the pressure of outside expectations, and listen more closely to your own inner voice.
The song features British rapper skaiwater, whose distinctive tone brings added depth and authenticity to the track’s themes. The collaboration has already sparked attention across global hip-hop and pop audiences, pairing skaiwater’s raw, introspective delivery with i-dle’s evolving sonic identity.
The accompanying music video mirrors the song’s stripped-back philosophy through a striking black-and-white aesthetic. Each member leaves her own mark on a massive circular canvas, visually symbolizing individuality within unity. The video balances intimate moments with large-scale choreography, including powerful scenes performed alongside a mega-crew, creating a dynamic contrast between personal expression and collective rhythm.
With “Mono,” i-dle reaffirms their willingness to evolve, embracing subtlety, self-reflection, and artistic intention as they step into their next global era.
