Dylan Brady returns as a solo artist to release a new single, “Needle Guy,” via his own Dog Show Records in partnership with Atlantic Records. The song, his first official solo release since 2018, has been moving through the club circuit and finding its way into DJ sets for months before its official release. It is accompanied by a music video directed by Tim Lindecher of Live From Earth.

“Needle Guy” arrives after a string of noteworthy collaborations with the likes of Adéla, Benny Blanco, Charli xcx, FKA twigs, Skrillex, and xaviersobased over the last couple of years. During this time, Brady has also evolved his solo career behind the decks with mythmaking DJ sets.

From his work as one-half of boundary-breaking duo 100 gecs to his expansive solo career, the Dog Show Records founder has emerged as one of contemporary music’s most forward-thinking makers. A St. Louis native, Brady first surfaced in 2015 with his debut solo album All I Ever Wanted, revealing a melodic instinct beneath his digital maximalism. After relocating to Los Angeles in 2016 and forming 100 gecs with Laura Les, the duo’s 2019 breakout album 1000 gecs proved seismic, redrawing the boundaries of pop experimentation. Its 2023 successor, 10000 gecs, cemented their reputation as world-renowned innovators.

In recent years, Brady’s solo DJ work has taken on a life of its own, and he’s become a force on international festival stages and underground club spaces alike. “Needle Guy” is not a sign of things to come, rather a representation of where Dylan Brady sits in 2026: at the intersection of pop innovation and club futurism as an artist equally fluent in songwriting, sound design, and the physical language of music.
