Fresh off the European leg of his “The Boy Who Played The Harp” headline tour, Dave shares the striking visual for the album title track “The Boy Who Played The Harp.” Directed by Edem Wornoo, the cinematic visual sees Dave place himself in a series of poignant moments in history, powerfully mirroring the introspective lyric “what would I do in the next generation.”
The news follows confirmation of his forthcoming album, The Boy Who Played The Harp, which will be released on October 24th via Neighbourhood Recordings.
The upcoming tour marks Dave’s first headline run since 2021’s We’re All Alone In This Together era, a record that cemented him as one of the most influential and introspective voices in UK rap.
The Boy Who Played The Harp marks Dave’s first full-length project since 2023, when his self-produced collaboration with Central Cee, “Sprinter,” made UK chart history. The track spent 10 consecutive weeks at No. 1, becoming the longest-running No. 1 rap single in UK history, and also reached the Top 3 across Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Norway. That same year, his collaboration with Tiakola, “Meridian,” topped the charts in France, extending his international success.
Fans who pre-order The Boy Who Played The Harp via Dave’s official store by Monday, October 20th at 10 am BST will gain exclusive access to the artist presale. Additional local partner and Mastercard presales will begin on Tuesday, October 21st at 9 am local time, with the general on-sale opening on Thursday, October 23rd at 9 am local time.
