Following the undeniable popularity of his previous club anthem “Bassline,” electronic producer Solora returns with a sophisticated shift in tempo and mood. His latest single, “Cali Nights,” trades the peak-hour adrenaline for a deeper, more atmospheric groove.

If “Bassline” was the clubland House Music floor filler, “Cali Nights” is the wind-down – the deeper, sensual after-party cut designed for the drive home while the city lights blur in the rearview mirror.

Originally conceived under the working title “LA Nights,” the track captures the specific humidity and mystery of the West Coast after dark. Driven by a rolling, hypnotic bassline and plucky, melodic synths, the track features ethereal vocals that drift over the beat like smoke. It is a masterclass in restraint, proving that Solora’s production skills extend far beyond just making people jump – he knows how to make them feel.

Solora comments:

“I wanted to explore the other side of the night out. ‘Bassline’ was about the energy of the crowd. ‘Cali Nights’ is about the intimacy of the moments that happen after the music stops.”

Drawing on his background as a musician and frontman for indie rockers The Scream, Solora infuses the electronic production with a sense of songcraft and melody that sets him apart in the genre.
