Bedford alternative rock lads Don Broco, headlining a legendary venue like OVO Arena in London, feels like something they were destined to do. Their arena-built rock show is ready for stages like this, so to wrap up 2025 by headlining this venue comes with all the anticipation that Don Broco are going to pull something special out of the bag.
The room is absolutely crackling by the time the band races onto the stage and into opener “Cellophane” and, from there on in, this has all the hallmarks of being the kind of wild Christmas party that will go down as legendary. But by this stage in their career, every Don Broco show feels like an unforgettable experience. The connection with the crowd is clear to see as fan-favourite after fan-favourite is thrown out, while the surprise inclusion of the new track “True Believers” is a fantastic Christmas treat for their longtime fans.
By now, the Don Broco party is in full swing as “You Wanna Know” sees the band performing the track acoustically from the crowd while Theresa from support act Yonaka joins the fun for “Further.” Other than that, it’s just banger after banger with “Technology,” “Manchester Super Reds No.1 Fan,” and “Bruce Willis” turning the Wembley Arena floor into a sea of bouncing bodies. “T-Shirt Song” turned that floor into a mass of swinging t-shirts before Don Broco wrapped up the set with an unforgettable rendition of “Hype Man.”
For Don Broco, headlining venues of this stature is something they were destined to do. They turn every room into one big party and, with the added bonus of this being their final shows of 2025, the band were always going to depart the stage having left their mark on this iconic room. If you haven’t experienced Don Broco in full flow, honestly, you haven‘t lived. A spectacular night to kick start these Christmas festivities.
