Hailing from Oklahoma City, hard rock/post-grunge outfit Aranda unveils their new single/music video, “You Don’t Wanna Know,” a song that explores longing for human connection while at the same time being frightened of being hurt.

Vocalist/guitarist Dameon Aranda explains, “It’s a song about being broken to the point where you don’t trust anyone to love you past your mistakes.

Formed by brothers Dameon Aranda (lead vocals, guitar) and Gabe Aranda (lead vocals, keyboards), Aranda arrived on the scene with a big splash with the release of their self-titled debut album, featuring two Top 40 Active Rock hits – “Still in the Dark” and “Whyyawannabringmedown,” which was not only covered by Kelly Clarkson, but was the theme song for WWE’s The Bash.

Since then, Aranda has delivered successive Top 40 singles, multiple albums, and shared the stage with Shinedown, Staind, and Stone Temple Pilots. Their recent collaboration with A.D.A.M. Music Project, “Punch Out,” hit #33 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Chart.

“You Don’t Wanna Know” rolls out on heavy, fiercely poignant guitars, leading to a low-slung, gleaming bridge. On the chorus, the guitars ramp up to muscular levels as the vocals take on intense urgency, revealing deep, aching emotional confusion and visceral authenticity.

The closer you get / I push you away / I promise you / You don’t wanna know.
