Earlier this year, Alex released his tenth studio album Headlights via RCA Records, marking his major label debut. A highly anticipated release, the album was preceded by the critically lauded singles “Afterlife” and “June Guitar,” both of which set the tone for what’s to become one of his most celebrated works with early reviews deeming Headlights “A major label debut worthy of the all-time indie graduations,” (Pitchfork) “brilliant folk-rock,” (Rolling Stone) “another record for fans to leave on repeat” (Clash). The album has also been highlighted in Best of 2025 lists by The New York Times, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, Pitchfork, Stereogum, Paste Magazine, and more.
In addition to performances on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to celebrate the release of Headlights, Alex took the album on the road with multiple nights at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles as well as headlining shows at Radio City Music Hall in New York, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, the Eventim Apollo in London, and more.
