Sunset Detour returns with their most explosive and unapologetically honest single yet: a punchy pop-punk anthem about refusing to shrink yourself to fit in. “All I Am Is Me” is out now on all platforms.

With “All I Am Is Me,” the Danish pop-punk band taps straight into the pressure cooker of modern perfection culture and flips it on its head. The track blends the raw energy of early-2000s punk with a present-day message about owning who you are, even when the world tells you to tone it down.

Lead singer Thomas Kongshaug comments:

“The song is basically a giant middle finger to expectations. Everyone knows that feeling of being told you should act a certain way or be someone you’re not. ‘All I Am Is Me’ is about realizing you don’t owe anyone that. There’s strength in choosing yourself.”

The single marks a new chapter for Sunset Detour, following the growing momentum around their recent releases “Shotgun Nellie” and fan-favourite “Chuck.” Known for mixing big hooks, humour, emotional honesty, and nostalgia, the band is carving out a sound that feels both familiar and fresh.

Produced independently by the band and mixed in the U.S., “All I Am Is Me” showcases Sunset Detour’s evolution toward tighter songwriting, bigger choruses, and a more international pop-punk direction.

Sunset Detour are quickly emerging as one of the most exciting new names in Denmark’s alternative pop-punk scene, with a mission to bring Scandinavian pop-punk to the global stage.
