ScotLittleBihlman has revealed his latest single, “There’s No Way Out of Here,” released via V13 Music and is the fourth song in the lead-up to his forthcoming album Heavy Head. Originally written and recorded by Ken Baker and later performed by David Gilmour for his 1978 self-titled solo record, Bihlman’s version pays tribute to the Pink Floyd guitarist’s legacy while reframing the song through his own lens of blues grit and southern-rock soul.

The track constructs its atmosphere through organ flourishes, layered, worn-in harmonies, and pacing that moves like a long drive home. With “There’s No Way Out of Here,” Bihlman captures Gilmour’s introspective spirit but adds his own raw edges, leaning into the outlaw side of classic rock, but without the extravagance. The result, a song that delivers something leaner, darker and more human. “There’s no way out of here; if you are in, you are in for good,” he sings, teetering on the borderline of resignation and acceptance.

The song gives an impression of a decision that is being made, expressed in musical form. Steady, unhurried, and unflinchingly honest. It tramps ahead slowly but with determination, creating the feeling of the restless pull of a life lived searching for something that is just a little bit out of reach. It’s music for the souls of those who have been stuck between the comfort of the known and the pain of the unknown.

With “There’s No Way Out of Here,” Bihlman not only explores but expands the universe of Heavy Head, his upcoming album that will be released in early 2026. Each single reveals another hue of its emotional core – pain, resistance, introspection, and the acceptance that binds them together – offering a portrait of an artist who honours the roots of classic rock while reshaping it for a new era.
