Japan’s HANABIE. Get Cute and Crazy at Manchester Academy 2 [Photos]

Japanese sensations HANABIE. return to the UK this autumn as part of their newly announced EU/UK tour, following a successful run of Japanese dates in support of their Bucchigiri Tokyo EP released in December. The tour, which kicks off at the end of October and runs through November, brings the Harajuku-core trailblazers back to fans who have watched their international following surge in recent years helped by their attention grabbing slot kicking off the second stage at Download Festival in 2024.

The band also arrive in the UK with a brand-new single, “Karu Garu Everyday!!”, the theme song for the anime Araiguma Calcal-dan. True to form, the track blends HANABIE.’s hardcore edge with Yukina’s sharp shouts and catchy vocals, creating their signature mix of cuteness, chaos and intensity. With festival appearances and worldwide tours building momentum, their upcoming UK dates mark another step in a breakout year for a band rapidly becoming a global sensation.
