For London-based alt-pop star Alessi Rose, 2025 has been a breakthrough year, with her opening for pop megastar Dua Lipa on the UK & Europe leg of the Radical Optimism Tour, before supporting Tate McRae on her US tour in October. Sandwiched in between that, there was, amongst other things, the small matter of attention-grabbing afternoon sets at this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival to add to Alessi‘s list of achievements.

To round out the year, Alessi hit the road for a sold-out ten-date UK headline tour in support of her acclaimed Voyeur EP, which dropped earlier this year. Judging by the reaction to a packed-to-the-rafters room in Liverpool, on the latest date of the tour, Alessi is loving the freedom of taking her own show out on the road. Some would say even more so than a fanbase that is growing by the show.

Support for the tour is Canterbury alt-pop up-and-comer, Deyyess, who has a fair few fans already in the front rows of the Mountford Hall. Following in a similar vein to the headliner, Deyyess is one of a new breed of alt-pop stars who know how to write a catchy/edgy pop song and work a crowd who are already on her side, so playing to ready-filled rooms like this one, opening for one of the buzz names in UK pop can only do her profile the world of good.

With twelve months of profile-raising appearances under her belt, Alessi Rose knows how to put on a show of her own. By the time this tour arrives in Liverpool, The Voyeur tour has already worked its way across mainland Europe to similar scenes as this one, judging by fan-filmed videos across YouTube.

Stating her excitement at being on the road and showcasing this chapter of her story to fans, the Alessi Rose headline show is definitely something ready for bigger venues than the ones on this headline tour. A crucifix and chandelier are the main centre point pieces of the production, with Alessi herself a ball of energy and unmistakably the star of the show. A commanding, electrifying stage performance and special connection with her young fans are clear for all to see.

Round that out with a bunch of edgy, infectious alt-pop anthems like “Stella”, with themes about friendships, relationships, love, and her life in the public eye, and the latest success story from the British pop scene in 2025 is ending the year ready to step into the big league in 2026. Judging by the reaction to her shows on The Voyeur, there is going to be no stopping her.
