Sacred Oath Celebrates 15th Anniversary of ‘World On Fire’ with Deluxe Edition

Sacred Oath are celebrating the 15th anniversary of their 4th studio album with a Deluxe Expanded Edition that includes five additional tracks. Released in November 2010, the original album contained 11 songs and is the band’s only concept album.

Says singer and primary lyricist Rob Thorne:

“Back in ’09 things seemed so dire and corrupt at home, we decided to do a concept album on ‘Dune.’ Who would have thought things would actually get even worse? We could really use a Kwisatz Haderach now.”

The 15th anniversary edition contains five bonus tracks, two of which are studio tracks that did not make the original album cut. The other three are live recordings from the last tour in 2023. Original artwork for the album was provided by reknowned fantasy artist Michael Whelan.
