Lucha VaVOOM Announces UK Debut At London’s Troxy; First Music Acts Confirmed

Born in Los Angeles, Lucha VaVOOM has captivated audiences around the globe since 2002, combining Lucha Libre wrestling with outrageous burlesque, top-tier comedy, and live music in a one-of-a-kind, high-energy performance.

The first wave of acts has now been confirmed, featuring powerhouse rockers Hot Wax and Jim Jones Revue All Stars, alongside award-winning comedians Max & Ivan and Andrew O’Neill. These newly announced names join a dazzling lineup of world-class performers and wrestlers, making Lucha VaVOOM’s UK debut one of 2025’s most unmissable live events.

Described by Vanity Fair as “a madcap mix of Mexican wrestling, comedy, and vintage burlesque” and praised by Eric Idle (Monty Python) as “the funniest, silliest, and most entertaining show there is,” Lucha VaVOOM has previously wowed over 35,000 fans at major festivals and venues including Paris, Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, Calgary’s High Performance Rodeo, and Australia’s Big Day Out.

The event will feature an extraordinary lineup of performers, including Danny Ash (Sexual Freedom Awards Performer of the Year), Natasha Estrada, Amazi, and world-class Luchadors such as Cara Noir, Galeno Del Mal, Microman, Última Sombra, MBM Sweetboy, Simon Miller, and Madame Guillotine.

Burlesque icons Julie Atlas Muz and Mat Fraser, star of American Horror Story and His Dark Materials — will also perform, bringing their unique artistry and energy to the stage.
