Who directed the video?

INDVGO: “Koji directed and filmed the video. We worked closely together, from outlining the theme to creating a vision board, so every frame reflects the story we wanted to tell. Koji really understood my vision and knew how to bring the emotion out of me without forcing it. It felt like collaboration, not just direction.”

What’s the concept behind the video?

“The concept is about self-reflection, healing your heart, and finding peace. It’s cinematic, intimate, and shows the path back to yourself.”

Where was it made?

“Right in New York City near the Brooklyn Bridge on a rainy day. There’s something poetic about the city’s chaos that beautifully mirrors the emotions of the song perfectly.”

What was your favourite part of the creation of the video?

“My favourite part was watching our vision board come to life. It was amazing to see a concept we’d planned turn into a tangible story. To look around and see everybody working together to help bring my story to life.”

Based on how this one was made, are you looking forward to doing another?

“Absolutely. This process reminded me that visuals can be just as emotional and healing as the music itself. And honestly, I’m ready to push boundaries next time. Maybe make people uncomfortable… in a good way. I’ve got so many stories I want to tell.”

What makes a music video “bad” or “good?” What makes it “great?”

“A video is ‘bad’ if it’s flashy but says nothing. It’s ‘good’ if it matches the song’s vibe. But ‘great?’ A great video makes you feel something, even if you don’t know the song. It makes people feel seen, maybe even a little guilty for hiding their emotions.”

What’s your favourite thing about music videos?

“I love how videos let you tell a story without words. I love that they can scream your truth without you saying a word. They give people permission to feel what they’re afraid to admit. Anger, heartbreak, desire…whatever it is. They give you space to paint emotions, to make people feel something they can’t put into words.”

If money were no issue, what would be in your perfect video?

“I’d make it cinematic and immersive. A visual experience that feels like literally stepping inside my mind. Dreamlike sets, dancers moving like emotions, maybe even projections of other people’s similar stories.”

Are the benefits worth the costs and effort involved?

“Yes. Videos live forever; they’re time capsules. When someone finds my video years from now, I want them to feel the same raw emotion I felt creating it. It’s worth any sleepless night.”
