SoFlo melodic rap/nu-alt-pop duo ET Boys recently released their new single, “Woe Am I,” exploring deep feelings of longing in a one-sided romantic relationship.

Written by Tacboy, the lyrics reveal the sensation of being lost in a wasteland where emotions have been scoured away.

“I can’t see / What u been doin / More than I say / I’ll keep ur / Necklace warm / Woe am I / Hate is love / When it’s this long / Woe am I.”

Made up of two Latino brothers, Tacboy and Sharkeyes, ET Boys released their debut single, “Sober,” in 2021, followed by a series of beguiling singles. In 2022, they dropped their debut album, Forever Night, which amassed three million streams.

So far, in 2025, ET Boys have released “Far Away,” produced by David Gnozzi of MixBusTv, “Metroid freestyle,” produced by Grammy-winner Drew Correa, and “Ritual.”

The pair has had three songs top the Radio Tracker Independent Charts: “Bong Bong,” “This Is Us,” and “Until Forever.” While “Love Me If You Must” hit #1 on The Urban Influencer Rap Charts, and “Ritual” was number one on Independent Global Radio Miami.

Eerie chimes topped by a chanting, lullaby voice open “Woe Am I,” setting a spine-chilling stage for the entry of heavy synths topped by Tacboy’s haunting vocals, evoking dark frustration and aching need. Monsie’s pulsing guitar leads to a massive shadow of sound that throbs with muscular dynamism.
