Westin Wilson is set to step back into the cage this weekend at UFC Fight Night: Walker vs. Zhang on August 23, 2025, in Shanghai, China. He’ll be facing local favorite Yizha in a featherweight showdown.

Wilson comes in as the underdog, but he’s riding momentum from one of the biggest wins of his career. In his previous fight, he defeated Jeka Saragih with a rare armbar-triangle submission, showcasing his dangerous creativity and precision on the ground. Known for finishing fights, Wilson looks to pull off another upset in front of the Shanghai crowd.

While his attention is firmly on the fight, Wilson also has something else on the horizon—his film debut. He co-stars in the upcoming documentary Paperweight, releasing September 5, 2025, on Prime Video.

“I think everybody in the world should be punched in the face…”

The movie follows recording artist Andrew P. Oliver (Forthright Records) as he tries to get a taste of the fight world, with Westin Wilson serving as his coach and guide. Paperweight also features UFC star Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson and gives fans an inside look at the discipline, preparation, and mental toughness it takes to step into the cage.

It’s an action packed few weeks in the making. Wilson will battle a tough opponent in Shanghai, and just two weeks later, audiences will see him in a whole new way on screen. Whether it’s inside the octagon or in front of the camera, Westin Wilson is ready to make a statement.
