Trivium Announce EP ‘Struck Dead’ with Lead Single “Bury Me With My Screams”
Ahead of their Bloodstock headline appearance, Trivium have released details of a new EP. Read all about ‘Struck Dead’ here…
GRAMMY-nominated metal titans Trivium have announced the release of their upcoming EP Struck Dead, set to drop on October 31st via long-time label Roadrunner Records.
The announcement is accompanied by the release of the EP’s lead single, “Bury Me With My Screams,” which premiered via Matthew K. Heafy’s Chaos Hour on SiriusXM’s Liquid Metal channel.
Struck Dead was produced by the band and recorded at their own Hangar Studios in Orlando, Florida, with Mark Lewis handling engineering duties. Mixing and mastering were completed by long-time collaborator Josh Wilbur.
Originally intended as a single track to accompany the band’s Poisoned Ascendancy tour, the project evolved into a three-song set during rehearsals and studio downtime.
The new material will be performed live for the first time during Trivium’s headline appearance at this year’s Bloodstock Open Air Festival. Following the run of European festivals, Trivium head out for a full US headline tour in October.
