Aussie rockers The Lazys have unveiled the video for their latest single “Hot Under The Collar,” which was originally released on June 27th. Produced by LA heavyweight Dave Schiffman (Adele, RHCP, System of a Down) and co-written with rock powerhouse Ian D’sa (Billy Talent), “Hot Under The Collar” is a razor-sharp, riff-charged anthem about the chaos of falling hard for someone at work. A heady blend of danger, desire, and pure rock ’n’ roll grit.

Speaking about the single, the band have said:

“For ‘Hot Under The Collar’ we wanted to keep it simple and show our fun side again, which has always been a staple in the band’s persona. At the same time, we wanted to create something fresh, but we also wanted to incorporate the song’s lyrics and create a construction site theme. Given the time restraints (we only had one day to shoot the video), including a Lazys die-hard fan (who was included in the video via our Kickstarter Fundraiser), and the logistical challenges of being on an actual construction site, the idea of shooting in front of a white cyc wall emerged.”

The band are currently in the midst of their summer European tour, which is fan-funded via Kickstarter. This sees not just a group of fans supporting a beloved band — but a movement.
