GYROstream is now G.Y.R.O. – Get.Your.Record.Out. A name that hits harder, with the same mission: to put independent artists on the global stage.

For seven years, GYROstream has been helping artists build their careers their way. G.Y.R.O. captures the energy and ambition that have driven them from day one, while opening the door to what comes next. Bigger vision. Expanded services. One goal: taking artists from debut to household name.

G.Y.R.O. Head of Marketing Alison Bremner states:

“Our name has evolved, but the focus hasn’t. G.Y.R.O. reflects growth, not reinvention. It’s a sharper expression of the same mission we’ve had since day one. This brand evolution is about meeting Australian and New Zealand talent where they are today, and where they want to be tomorrow.”

Led internally by G.Y.R.O. Head of Marketing Alison Bremner, the rebrand is a collaboration with renowned creative studio Pretty–Soon®, known for their deep connection to the music industry, working with brands like Red Bull Music, Future Classic, Atlantic Records, Apple Music, and artists like Becca Hatch, Ta-ku, Wafia, and Panama.

Mike Souvanthalisith, Pretty–Soon® Design Director, states:

“Partnering with the G.Y.R.O. team on their rebrand journey felt like the perfect sync of creative ambition and cultural change. Being so passionate about both the music industry and community, we’re proud to add our fingerprint to such a transformative platform for artists, local and abroad.”

Joining G.Y.R.O. at this pivotal moment is Ash McGregor, stepping in as Artist Partnerships Manager.

As the much-loved former host of triple j’s Australian music show Home & Hosed, she discovered and championed countless local artists, giving space to all genres and backgrounds on a national stage. Her career has always been about one mission: getting great Australian music heard. Beyond triple j, McGregor’s work as a presenter, host, and programmer has spanned MTV, Nickelodeon, Global Radio London, Nova, 4ZZZ, and SeaFM – alongside live events that connected artists with music lovers across continents.

This role will see McGregor continue her advocacy for independent artists within the Australian music industry whilst strengthening G.Y.R.O.’s connections with industry bodies and education institutions by curating valuable resources, experiences, and opportunities.

McGregor comments:

“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at G.Y.R.O., continuing to work closely with local independent artists and making sure their talent cuts through. Independent music is the lifeblood of the Australian scene, and G.Y.R.O. is doing vital work to make sure their voices are heard on a global stage. I can’t wait to champion the music and stories coming through the platform, uncover new acts and support artists in reaching the next step in their careers.”

The rebrand follows the recent launch of GYRO.Group: an ecosystem uniting G.Y.R.O., DistroDirect, GROUP SPEED, and Soothe Sounds. With operations across Australia, USA, UK, Canada, Brazil, the Philippines, and India, the group combines local know-how with international reach.

Co-Founder & CEO Andy Irvine states:

“Being part of GYRO.Group means we can take artists from release day to world tours – and everything in between. We’ve scaled up, but our mission stays the same: Artist First. Always.”
