Master Peace returns with brand new single “Shake Me Down,” a bold, bass-driven statement that ushers in a new era for the South London artist. Produced by legendary tastemaker Dan Carey (Wet Leg, Fontaines D.C., Kae Tempest), the track follows hot on the heels of recent release “Harley,” forming the second half of a two-part collaboration with Carey and label Speedy Wunderground.

If “Harley” cracked the door open, “Shake Me Down” kicks it open wide, bringing in a funkier sound than we’ve heard from Peace before. Groove-led, it marks a confident step into more experimental territory.

“Shake Me Down” is a bass-driven, electropop-laced indie cut that moves with attitude and groove. Peace’s half-spoken, half-sung delivery cuts through Carey’s production with a sharp edge, giving the track a sense of unpredictability. There’s a looseness to the structure that feels instinctive rather than overworked, tapping into something more visceral than polished.

Building on the momentum of his acclaimed debut project, How To Make A Master Peace, these new tracks introduce us into a bold new sonic evolution. With Dan Carey’s boundary-pushing production and Speedy Wunderground’s no nonsense ethos, Master Peace continues on his rise.
