Step inside the powerful Scale exhibition at Unlocked, Shoreditch, with photographer Kane Hibberd, who spent over a decade capturing life-sized images of iconic guitars owned by music legends. In this exclusive interview with Damian FitzGerald, Kane discusses the origins of the project, his journey through photography, and how he immortalized instruments belonging to Steve Albini, Glen Hansard, Kirk Hammett, and Lzzy Hale.
Each guitar comes with its own emotional backstory, offering an intimate look at the personal connections between artists and their instruments. Discover the painstaking process behind photographing these rare pieces and the stories they silently tell.
The exhibition is open until August 31st 2025, with plans for an exciting global tour, making this immersive showcase accessible to fans worldwide.
